Lefse is a Norwegian flatbread, sometimes known as "catnip for Norwegians." Unlike most recipes, Grandma Skarstad's Lefse doesn't have milk or butter, resulting in a longer shelf life. Her recipe is the result of years of experimentation with the family recipe to improve Lefse preservation while still retaining flavor and texture.
